what measures has Tanzania taken so far to save us from this coming catastrophe?

  g. silas :The world is at a blink of a massive financial disaster.

All countries are now taking some very drastic fiscal measures and
policies to avoid or reduce possible undesirable consequences that are
imminent.

No country wants to be in the state Greece is in right
now.The question is, what measures has Tanzania taken so far to save
us from this coming catastrophe? Does the increasing of the number of
districts and regions solve the coming problem? Countries are reducing
their governments\’ public spending especially in sectors which
increase the gov\’s wage bill, but on our part we seem to be increasing
it.

Apart from increasing a burden on tax payers when inflation is
really biting hard if really the gov revenue has increased which I
very much doubt then why shouldn\’t the increase go to the improvement
of basic national infrastructure esp transport.

Still further, we
should keep in mind that our budget is still donor dependent, and due
to economic difficulties our donors are facing right now at home they
might not fulfil fully the pledges they made. I see no reason for the
opening of more districts and regions if not only for reasons
associated with patronage.
