The Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE) is pleased to announce and call
for participation in* the Employer of the Year Award (EYA) *Survey for 2013*.
The award event for 2012 was graced by the President of the United
Republic of Tanzania, Dr Jakaya M. Kikwete and all participants received a
certificate.
The overall objective of conducting EYA is to encourage and promote best
practices in Human Resources essential for improving productivity and
wealth creation. By participating in the Survey, your company/organization
will have an opportunity to assess, share, learn, compare and benchmark its
Human Resources & Business policies, systems, tools and practices with
other participating organizations, with a special focus on how
organizations can understand the importance of maintaining their special
“people resources” who contribute towards maximizing output for the
organization.

*6. **YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR *
ATE has appointed an independent Consultant to carry out the survey to
identify the Employer of the Year award winners. Participation will be by
filling in structured Questionnaires according to methodology provided by
the Consultant.
*Guidelines for filling in the **QUESTIONNAIRES *

To participate there are two Questionnaires to be duly filled out for each
organization as follows:-
a. Kindly download the questionnaires at www.eya.co.tz , fill in the
attached questionnaires and send back by return email to survey@eya.co.tz.
You can also fill up the questionnaires online soon to be guided or print
and fill in manually and drop the same at ATE offices.
b. Complete all Questions if competing for the Overall Award Category
c. You can choose to fill in questions related to the Criteria Awards
only (e.g. CSR and Ethical Practices), if you feel your organisation has
put more efforts on such.
d. Please give complete details relating to all aspects.
e. If the check boxes for filling in information are not adequate, the
same may be given on separate sheet(s).
f. For any further information regarding filling up the form, email

g. Any other information which you feel relevant may also be enclosed
on separate sheet with the questionnaires.

Questionnaires will be sent to your postal address, electronically and also
placed on our website (www.ate.or.tz) to be downloaded, filled and sent
back to the Consultant. The Questionnaires contain all the information and
guideline that you will need while filling.
The survey exercise starts immediately after receiving this Announcement
and there after the award giving ceremony will be held in during the second
week of December 2012. The date of the event and the venue shall be
communicated to you in due course.
All ATE members are eligible to participate without any fee. This is an
equal opportunity process and ATE therefore encourages members
participate. By participating, it goes a long way to show ATE members care
about BEST practices and that is why this year, all participants will get a
certificate of recognition/participation.
