Safari Air Link takes delivery of the most exciting plane in Tanzania

*Fast * Convenient * Luxurious * Twin Engines * First of its kind based in Tz!

Dar es Salaam, 12- 08 -2012:

Safari Air Link has announced the arrival of Citation Mustang 510
executive jet to their fleet of aircraft in a move to up provision of
executive air transport services to business sector, tourism and
emergency health care in Tanzania.

“The first of its kind in Tanzania, the twin engine Citation Mustang
is a business class jet with super luxurious interior that will race
between countries at incredible speeds, flying above turbulence at
41000ft,” said Mr Peter Fox in a press statement issued yesterday.

According to Mr Fox, the very light jet offers businesspeople and
leisure travellers convenience and style.
“Our new acquisition is surprisingly affordable for Businessmen
wanting to travel with personalized luxury in a pressurized twin
engine jet that can land at regional airports not benefitting from a
scheduled airline,” he said.

Able to take 5 passengers the jet is aimed at businessmen whose time
is valuable and need to avoid the lengthy check in queues or round the
houses inflexible routes that they will often endure with a Scheduled
airline, he added.

Mr Fox said Safari Air Link is now able to comfortably offer
businessmen the comfort and convenience of swiftly reaching regional
airports not serviced by a schedule airline. “Safari Air Link provides
a cost effective solution anytime, any day, and to any region -such as
Dar to Moroni in the Comoros in 1hr 10mins! Dar to Goma in 2hrs: Dar
to Harare in 2hrs 30mins,” he said.

For the tourism industry, the jet will also interest travellers
wanting to visit more than one country on their safari easing
connections from Southern Africa to Eastern Africa such as Dar to Vic
Falls in 3hrs 30mins!

“It is an affordable luxury making twin centre holidays possible!” Mr Fox said.

“In under 2hrs those wanting to combine the Gorillas of Rwanda,
Congo, & Uganda with a safari or beach in Tanzania, Kigali to Zanzibar
can do it,”

Dar to Pemba in Mozambique is an hour or to Vilankulo takes less than
3hrs. Dar to Antananarivo in Madagascar takes 4hrs 30mins without
having to go via Jo’berg.

Safari Air Link already has an established reputation for it’s
affordable per seat scheduled service connecting visitors from all the
Southern and Western National Parks of Tanzania to Dar and Zanzibar.
But with this new Citation, Safari Air Link is now taking its
personalized flight service to another whole level. Travellers can now
get between destinations in supreme style but without it costing the
earth.

The jet is designed for tarmac strips connecting East Africa to the
Indian Ocean islands, Southern Africa, West Africa, or the Horn of
Africa. But anyone needing to fly into bush strips or with a larger
group can use one of Safari Air Link’s 14 seater Caravans or other
aircraft types.

Medivac – time saves lives!
Where every minute can count Safari Air Link now provides the quickest
solutions for getting patients in Tanzania to emergency health care in
Nairobi or Johannesburg, he said.

Safari Air Link is an environmentally friendly flight company which
prides itself on customer service, safety and maintaining a carbon
neutral footprint. With over 6000 acres of trees already planted in
the Southern Highlands, the company is thought to be the first airline
in Africa to have a negative carbon footprint . 1 acre of trees will
absorb 2600kg of Carbon dioxide in a year. A flight to Dodoma
produces 1094 kg of Carbon dioxide, so for Government officials
needing an efficient way to travel the Citation is the only answer.

It is a cheaper solution for small groups than using the larger
aircraft often chartered throughout Tanzania.
