Precision Air applauds governments of Comoros and Tanzania for success in Hahaya

Dar es Salaam:

Hahaya September 23rd, 2011. Precision Air-Tanzania’s leading airline
has today applauded the governments of Comoros and Tanzania for its
overwhelming support in making Hahaya yet another one of its new
flying destinations.

This was said by the airline’s Group Managing Director and CEO Mr.
Alfonse Kioko during a cocktail which Precision Air hosted at Itsandra
Hotel in Hahaya for its aviation stakeholders in the island.

“My appreciation goes to the governments of Tanzania and Comoros for
making it possible for us to add Hahaya as a destination on our
expanding network,” he told the Comorian Minister of Transport, Mr.
Rastami Mouhidine, who was also the guest of honor at the event.
The Group MD and CEO continued, “Please allow me to express my utmost
gratitude for the support that we are receiving since the launch of
our operations here more than a month ago. Your response has been both
gratifying and humbling. Let me assure you that Precision Air is in
this market for the long run and is committed to providing services
that aim to surpass customer expectations.”

On the other hand, the Comorian Deputy Minister for Transport Mrs.
Kalathum Mahmoud commended the airline for the cooperation it had
shown for her country and Comorian people in solving the problem of
air transport in the island.

“I want to extend my utmost thanks to Precision Air for being a
significant link between our two governments and people as a whole. We
therefore expect that this partnership will not only benefit the
transport aviation industry of our country but also help to improve
tourism by increasing numbers of tourists which will eventually help
promote our national economy and its people,” said the Deputy
Minister.

According to Mr. Kioko a Boeing 737-300 which Precision Air received
in August will ensure that operations are both reliable and on time,
with intentions to increase frequencies in the near future.
Precision Air which launched operations to Johannesburg and Comoro
last month is set to start trading on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange
this October which intends to raise over USD20 million.
Precision Air was named 2010 Regional Airline of the Year by African
Airlines Association (AFRAA) and the Best Scheduled Domestic Airline
in Tanzania in the recent Tanzania Society of Travel Agents (TASOTA)
Awards held recently.
The airline has the largest local network comprising; Dar es Salaam,
Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Mwanza, Kigoma, Tabora, Musoma,
Shinyanga, Mtwara. Regionally Precision Air flies to Nairobi, Mombasa,
Entebbe, and now Hahaya and Johannesburg.
