Believe me, many men are walking dead

Men generally do not talk about their marital problems, unlike women. This causes a pile-up of feelings.

Although many men won’t admit they died years ago, the truth is that we are walking dead.

We put up that happy face for all and sundry to see, but deep inside, we are searing and burning like the Fukushima Nuclear plant before exploding.

Many men will show signs of affection towards their women in the eyes of others, but deep inside, they are held by the vows they made in church during that wedding.

A couple of years after the wedding and after the second child was born, what was initially a blissful marriage turned into a silent killer.

There comes a time when even well-intended comments become irritating.

Men become irritable, and any noise can become piercing to the ears. Home becomes a prison.

All these are recipes for mental health problems, especially in men.

Men decide to close their windows and instead take a dive into the beer bottle.

This habit becomes so chronic that the only place they can find happiness is in bars or brothels.

Women, on the other hand, become so religious that they attend the so-called spiritual churches that offer an illusionary heaven on earth.

Did you know that so many couples sleep in different bedrooms?

And if they share the bedroom, they sleep in separate beds. Worse still, some face the wall if circumstances force them.

The moment a marriage reaches the level of sexual starvation, you can be sure it has hit rock bottom.

Sexual revulsion signifies the end of a given marriage. When this happens, marriage becomes ceremonial, and cheating becomes the norm.

Just as marriages hit rock bottom as a result of suppressing feelings over a long period of time, reversing this misnomer means first realizing that life presents everything so that you can choose what you love.

Start means that you start from where you stopped—reamend communications and always know that touching each other is a sign of affection, which will ultimately lead to conciliatory sex.
