*PERMITS FOR CONDUCTING NON-CONSUMPTIVE WILDLIFE UTILIZATION OUTSIDE THE
NATIONAL PARKS AND NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA *
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism is hereby reminding all Tour
Operators and owners of Tourist Lodges and Campsites operating in wildlife
areas that Regulation 4 of The Wildlife Conservation (Non-Consumptive
Wildlife Utilization) Regulations, 2008* *requires* ALL *owners of Tourist
Lodges and Campsites operating in wildlife areas to obtain a permit from
the Director of Wildlife before conducting any tourism activities outside
the National Parks and Ngorongoro Conservation Areas.
Following adoption of the electronic permitting system, application for
permits can done online. A customer can fill the form on his/her own or
through assistance by our officers at the Tourist Hunting, CITES and
Photographic Tourism Office (Arusha), Selous Game Reserve (Matambwe and
Mtemere entry gates) and/or Wildlife Division – Headquarters office (Dar es
Salaam).
The Online system can be accessed through

attached registration form, scan and send to support@mnrt.go.tz . Username
and initial passwords will be sent through your users email. With this
letter, you are officially reminded to comply with the provisions of these
regulations
