Dr Reginald Mengi, Executive Chairman, IPP Limited, is among four finalists nominees for the annual All Africa Business Leaders Awards (AABLA) in the category of ‘East Africa Business Leader of the Year 2014.’
The AABLA regional awards for East Africa ceremony will take place on Saturday the 20th September 2014 in Nairobi and will be televised across the African continent.
According to pan-African real-time financial and business network television channel, CNBC Africa, the organizers, the annual awards have been created to honour excellence in businesses in the region that have had a considerable impact in their industries and the communities where they operate.

AABLA is the biggest single business award on the continent and is conducted in the West Africa region, East Africa region and Southern Africa region.
The other three nominees for the “EA Business Leader of the Year Category” are Benson Wairegi, CEO BRITAM (Kenya), James Mworia, CEO CENTUM (Kenya) and Rakesh Rao, CEO CROWN PAINTS (Kenya).
Other Tanzanians who have been nominated in different categories are Patrick Ngowi, CEO HELVETIC SOLAR LTD (E.A Young Business Leader) and Manoj Shanker, CEO TECHNO BRAIN LTD (E.A Entrepreneur of the Year).
