Seventeen years after it was recorded in London in 1995, “Heaven Saidâ€
by Tanzanian pop singer Joett is officially released on CD nationwide,
and digitally around the world via Island Def Jam Digital
Distribution, USA for iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, eMusic and Napster
on March 12th 2012. And on the same day, “Afro Loverâ€â€”his Swahili
influenced smash hit single of 1996—gets a new lease of life with a
highly anticipated 2012 re-release. With two singles released
simultaneously on the same day, Joett’s musical comeback—after “I
Could Never Live (Without Your Love)†initially released digitally on
December 20th 2010; and later on CD on Valentine’s Day 2011;
culminating with a 70s Disco Remix of the same song debuting on radio
on October 23rd 2011—continues.
Produced by multi-million selling British record producer Tambi
Fernando, who’s sold over five million records and worked with British
Queen Of Soul Mica Paris, Phil Fearon And Galaxy, Pepsi And Shirley,
Nevada, Omar, Seal, Switch, Prince Of Bhangra Sukhbir and a host of
other world famous artists, the two singles—even by today’s standards
in technological advancement—are at the cutting edge of production and

inspiration from 80s groove and contains elements of Soul II Soul’s
