Stimulating innovative entrepreneurship for sustainable job creation. This is the main challenge of the 6th edition of the African Business & Social Responsibility Forum which will be held from 4 to 5 October 2022 in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During this meeting, which will be attended by 500 business leaders and public actors from 22 countries, particularly from Africa, the theme will be: “Crossed perspectives, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) from here and elsewhere”.
“In an approach of mutual enrichment, the sharing of CSR experiences between Africa and other continents is at the heart of this 6th edition. It will also see the presentation of the continent’s best CSR practices through the Sustainable Impact initiative, which aims to bring development actors face to face with the new challenges of CSR,” says Latitude Monde, the consultancy in charge of organising this event.
In addition, the conference will also focus on the 4th and 5th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education and gender equality respectively. To this end, participants will discuss the development of women’s entrepreneurship under the coordination of Nathalie Bingangoye from Gabon, Managing Director of Odillon, a company created in 2017 and specialised in corporate engineering in the field of governance.
The African Business & Social Responsibility Forum is an event that mobilises some 200 companies and start-ups from all regions of the African continent to strengthen the CSR policies of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and other organisations that are essential for accelerating sustainable development on the continent.
