The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey.
The said survey covers 6 HR domains consisting of 20 topics, including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion and more.
In a press statement, Absa Kenya managing director, Jeremy Awori highlighted that the recognition had placed the bank among other globally recognized companies.
“This achievement places Absa Kenya among a prestigious group of companies that are globally recognized for excellence in supporting employee growth and innovation,” Awori said.
He emphasized that the certificate was a great testament to their strategy of transforming their workplace and evolving their ways of working.
“This certificate underlines one of our core values, which is ‘Our People are our Strength’. We recognise the critical role our colleagues play in ensuring that our customers enjoy a great banking experience from us, and we are committed to creating a working environment that allows them to thrive,” he added.
On his part, Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink said that the bank had proved itself in maintaining excellent people practice in the workplace.
“Absa Kenya has continued to show that it priorities maintaining excellent people practices in the workplace,” Plink said.
