Healthy lifestyle is essential to all especially in this era of COVID-19, enlightenment to people on proper lifestyles will aid in controlling the rates of the infected.
Eating the proper foods and exercising builds up one’s body and even improves metabolisms that will help in making the body energetic. Simply using junk food and drinks will affect the body and even reduce the body’s immunity.
A healthy lifestyle will help a person to ensure that the body immunity is strong against various health problems such as heart cancer, hypertension, obesity, and will even help one to reduce the high risks of getting infected by COVID-19.
Good mental health can be obtained through a healthy lifestyle, it will enable a person to be positive and have good psychological well being. WHO noted that “health is a state of complete mental, social and physical well-being not nearly the absence of disease and infirmity”, this shows that being healthy not only involves the body but also the mind.
As it is said a sad soul can be just as lethal as a germ by John Steinbeck, Living a healthy life will improve one’s levels of patience and mood, through a healthy lifestyle one will have good mental health that will also increase the ability of one to be calm and patient. Also the positiveness that the person gets through living healthy will help in boosting the good moods of a person.
Also the benefits of a healthy lifestyle is that one can save the money that is earned, this is because living healthy is not as expensive as the life of enjoying junk foods and other unnecessary luxuries.
Living a healthy life also increases one’s life span. Many researches have shown that living in a healthy way increases a person’s days of living, hence you should avoid unhealthy habits and poor diets so that the body immune is boosted and you become much more healthier and increase the life span.
Joyce Meyer said “remain calm, because peace equals power”, the peace and power can be obtained when one considers living a healthy life that will make one feel like he or she is in control of his or her life. That is one will feel much more flexible in doing whatever they need to do in their life and do it with the proper self-esteem that they will succeed.
Living a healthy life helps those who are sick to quickly recover from the problems that they are facing. Mostly during this outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) some cases have proved that a healthy lifestyle has helped some people to recover from the virus, hence you are advised to consider a healthy lifestyle if you have encountered the disease.
Winston Churchill once said that “healthy citizens are the greatest asset any country can have” , for the greater good of the country a healthy lifestyle is essential so that all can work effectively for the development of the country.hence people should be encouraged to this especially during this pandemic so that strength is formed of the body and mind of every person.
Overall, living a healthy lifestyle should be essential to all especially during this pandemic. It should be considered so that we increase our immunities and inner peace of the mind.
