Chris Brown is set to make history in December 2024 as he headlines South Africa’s FNB Stadium, the biggest stadium on the continent, as part of his ’11:11′ world tour.

Tickets for the highly anticipated concert went on sale on Friday, September 10, 2024, and were snapped up in just two hours. This rapid sell-out highlights Brown’s immense global appeal and his devoted fan base.

The FNB Stadium show is one of many successful stops on the American superstar’s ’11:11′ tour, which has already seen sold-out performances around the world, including a recent one in São Paulo, Brazil.

Brown’s connection to African music is strong, as demonstrated in his latest album where he teamed up with Nigerian superstar Davido. Their previous collaborations include the chart-topping hit “Under The Influence,” co-written with producer KDDO. Brown has also worked with other Nigerian artists like Wizkid, Lojay, and Fireboy DML, further cementing his influence on the African music scene. His impact in Nigeria was recognized with a Headies Award win.

As part of his ’11:11′ tour, Chris Brown has had Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr as one of his opening acts. Fans are excited to see which African stars will join him on stage for his South African performance.
