By Edson Baraukwa | Africa Guardian

Fresh off the release of his album Oxlade From Africa (OFA), singer-songwriter Oxlade is offering fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his creative journey through the Oxlade From Africa docu-series. The series takes Oxlade on a global adventure, where he engages with top African and Afro-descendant creatives to explore the powerful impact of their cultures and exchange forward-thinking ideas.

In the premiere episode, Oxlade sits down with Youssouf Fofana, the Paris-based creative director and founder of Maison Château Rouge, a fashion brand. Their conversation delves into Youssouf’s creative process, his initiative to support African entrepreneurs, his upbringing, and the deep importance of African wealth.

With both the album and docu-series, Oxlade seeks to highlight Africa’s cultural influence on the global stage. “I want to show the world a positive side of Africa and heal through music,” he shares. “That’s my mission.”
