Fort Worth, TX – Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT), has appointed Tim Evans as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa. In his new role, Tim will drive Bell’s growth and oversee the expansion of its commercial business across these key markets.

Tim brings a wealth of experience in aerospace and defense, including his service as a U.S. Army officer. Since joining Bell in 2006, he has led various sales and marketing initiatives, covering Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. His background includes work with Africair, Inc., Bell’s Independent Representative, and senior positions focused on government contracting. Tim has successfully managed multi-year campaigns through the U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, strengthening Bell’s presence in complex markets.

Previously, Tim was the Director of Business Development for the Bell 525 program, where he helped secure Equinor as the first customer for the world’s most advanced commercial helicopter. This achievement set the stage for the Bell 525’s use in energy, search and rescue, and government missions worldwide.

“I’m honored to lead Bell’s team in the Middle East and Africa,” said Evans. “The region has seen great successes, including Bell’s military trainer aircraft for the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the first Bell 429 offshore operation in Cameroon. I look forward to further expanding Bell’s footprint in these dynamic markets.”
