Allison and BHM to Host Exclusive African Business Leaders Event at UNGA79

Allison, a prominent communications consultancy, and BHM, Africa’s leading public relations firm, are teaming up to host an exclusive breakfast event during the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

The event, named ‘Africa Breakfast Convos,’ will take place on September 27 at the World Trade Center. It will bring together business and public sector leaders from across Africa, representing key industries including telecommunications, finance, entertainment, government, technology, and trade.

According to a statement provided, with 70% of sub-Saharan Africa’s population under the age of 30 and forecasts predicting that one-fifth of the global population will be African by 2030, the continent’s youthful demographics are gaining significant international interest.

“This exclusive event aims to highlight Africa’s vast potential for economic growth and development, emphasizing the continent’s contribution to achieving sustainable development goals,” the statement noted.

The event will feature panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking sessions that will delve into various aspects of the African narrative, including major business sectors, technology, pop culture, the creative economy, soft power, and geopolitics. It will serve as a platform to showcase expertise and innovation from the continent.
