Olanrewaju Babalola, a business consultant with the Nebraska Business Development Center, is championing entrepreneurial empowerment for African youth, highlighting skill development as a cornerstone for economic resilience.

Speaking at the Global Finance and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, hosted by Bold Money College in Nigeria on December 2, 2024, Babalola unveiled his vision in a presentation titled “Unlocking Potential: Inclusive Entrepreneurship as a Pathway for Africa’s Economic Resilience.” He underscored the importance of African youth leveraging their potential and bridging opportunity gaps to drive economic transformation.

“Inclusive entrepreneurship offers vast opportunities. For underrepresented groups to thrive, they must focus on self-development—enhancing their mindset, skills, abilities, and knowledge,” Babalola remarked.

Through his platform, GracedHorlah, Babalola introduced The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (TEB), a virtual initiative designed to equip young African entrepreneurs with the tools to succeed. The program, launching in January 2025, features keynote speeches, expert-led workshops, interactive activities, and networking opportunities.

“The resources shared will offer a fresh perspective by integrating business analysis to make the entrepreneurial journey for young Africans clearer and more sustainable,” explained Babalola, a Certified Business Analysis Professional with the International Institute of Business Analysis.

TEB aims to nurture a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders capable of creating sustainable solutions, providing aspiring entrepreneurs with the resources needed to transform their ideas into viable businesses.
