American singer and rapper 6lack is making his way back to South Africa after a six-year hiatus, announcing his return in a playful social media video where he spins a globe and lands on South Africa.

6lack has been added to the lineup for the Rocking The Daisies festival in Cape Town, marking his second performance in the Mother City—the last being in 2018 at the same festival. The announcement video also included highlights from his previous visit, featuring moments with his passionate South African fans. “It’s been 6 years… see you soon,” he captioned the post, sparking excitement among his followers.

In addition to his Cape Town performance, 6lack will also perform at the In The City event at Montecasino in Gauteng, where he will join Nigerian star Ayra Starr and Swedish R&B singer Snoh Aalegra.

Rocking The Daisies is going all out this year. Earlier, the festival organizers announced Snoh Aalegra as one of the headline acts. The “I Want You Around” singer confirmed the news on social media, expressing her eagerness to connect with her South African fans in October.

The festival is set to take place over three days, from October 3-6, at Cloof Wine Estate in Cape Town. Last year’s event in Gauteng was held at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium in Centurion, drawing a large crowd. Known for featuring top international acts like Stormzy, The Vamps, and JID, the addition of 6lack has fans buzzing with excitement, with many now eager to grab their tickets.
